JL Audio MMR-5N2K MediaMaster NMEA 2000 Wired Volume Controller for Marine Source Units, IPX7

The JL Audio MMR-5N2K is a wired rotary volume controller that adds an extra point of volume adjustment to a compatible MediaMaster source unit. It has an NMEA 2000 Micro-C connector and can be hooked up in one of two ways: onto the boat's existing NMEA 2000 network using the right cables and connectors, which are not included, or straight to one MediaMaster unit with MMC-PN2K powered network cables, sold separately, forming a stand-alone network.

A large knob makes changes easy even when the boat is moving, and turning it changes every audio zone at once. Pushing it mutes and unmutes the audio, and an LED ring with adjustable brightness shows status. It mounts from the front through a single 1.5 inch (38 mm) hole and detects which MediaMaster model it is connected to. Use it with only one source unit, and set the level control mode of each zone on that unit to Relative or Variable. What it can do depends on the host source unit.
