This pair of 6.5-inch JL Audio M3 coaxial speakers wears gloss white sport grilles and is aimed at boat owners running a moderate-power system. The M3-650X-S-Gw can run directly from a typical marine head unit, yet it is engineered to gain from a quality amplifier when you decide to add one later.

Each speaker pairs a DMA-optimized woofer with a mica-filled polypropylene cone and a 0.75-inch treated silk dome tweeter. A second-order high-pass filter with solid-state protection is built in to help guard the tweeter. Construction is meant for saltwater use and surpasses international test standards for salt fog and UV exposure. Stainless steel screws and washers plus a cutout template are supplied, and JL Audio backs the pair with a 3-year warranty.
