This 12 foot, two-channel cable belongs to JL Audio's Core interconnect family, which is sold in 2-channel and 4-channel versions in lengths from 3 up to 25 feet. With 12 feet of reach, it is aimed at longer stereo signal runs, for example when an amplifier is mounted at the far end of a vehicle or vessel from the source unit and a shorter lead would not reach.

Core cables use a twisted-pair build that helps keep noise out of the signal, which is useful over a run this long. Conductors are pure OFC copper with polyethylene as the dielectric. JL Audio finishes each end with molded housings holding machined brass contact elements, giving a firm and consistent connection at every RCA jack.
