The Aquatic AV RF6 is a handheld wireless remote kit for owners of Aquatic AV 6-Series audio gear who want to change tracks and volume without walking back to the stereo. It talks to the supplied receiver over radio frequency rather than infrared, so you do not need to aim it, and it keeps working at distances of up to 40 feet. Boats, powersports machines and other wet outdoor setups are where it makes the most sense.

The handset is sealed against water and is designed to float, which helps if it slips over the side. A rechargeable lithium polymer cell powers it, charging from any 5V USB source through the included cable, and a full charge lasts around 15 days in standby. It carries IP66 and CFR46 environmental ratings and is certified to ASTM B117 and ASTM D4329.
